Where, when and how did you first learn about the term therianthropy?

I came across it after finding out about otherkin online, i am both otherkin and therianthrope due to being a polymorph

How did you come to the conclusion that you are this theriotype?

Do you feel there is a spiritual reason behind therianthropy? A scientific view perhaps? Maybe you even think it is a bit of both? Of course all thoughts on this subject will not be judged as there is no proven answer to this.

I believe it's different for everyone, for me it's a combo of past lives and a very fluid energy form

How do you experience shifts? What are they like? What kinds do you experience?

mental and phantom, occasionally very painful due to size of phantom limbs

I'd like to learn about others who share my beliefs, most therians I know are very conservative in regards to shifting
