Hello everyone! My name is Sorral :) I'm glad to be a part of this site =^w^= I've been a Therian since 2006/2007 when I was about ten or eleven (about the time I got my first computer). I found out by looking up "animal-people" on Google when I started to realize I was seriously different from everyone else and that I was not what one would label as "normal". XD Though it took a while to actually learn who I was. In 2006/2007, I had believed I was a wolf due to the fact that the first Therian site I stumbled upon was a "wolf pack" and so in order to fit in, I thought I had to be a wolf (despite my instincts saying otherwise). Then in 2012, I began to question myself about being a wolf and that whole year was spent searching until finally I gave up and went with wolf again. Yet by the end of 2013, I finally realized I was feline and recently (early this month) found I'm a somali house-cat. I was able to come to this conclusion by looking back at my early childhood when I was free to be myself and looking at how I changed as I grew. I was very /VERY/ cat-like in my young age and the older I had got, the more the cat-like behavior grew. I also knew I was right about being a house-cat because the moment I came to an awareness of being feline, a m-flare happened followed by a strong phantom body which basically confirmed what I knew all along; that I was a cat inside (soul-wise). By this, I mean that I believe therianthropy to be Spiritual. Moving on though, XD. For shifts, I've successfully complete a full mental shift, I have phantom shifts on almost a daily basis, and I have sensory shifts every now and then. Personally, I don't believe in physically shifting to be "possible". By this, I mean that it might be real but not achievable being - and this is my personal own beliefs - that if a person were able to physically manipulate and change their physical body structure, the pain and stress would be too much to handle and would cause a cardiac arrest, or the person would end up permanantly disfigured.

Carrying on, I hope to meet new friends here on the site and learn more about myself. =^w^= I also hope to be able to help others and give any good advice I can! :) If you wanna know more about me, just check out my profile, lol.

Welcome aboard the fun train :P

It's always a shame when people are peer-pressured into thinking they're wolves, I love it when they find who they really are.

Welcome welcome. :3

I never had a wolf-stage, haha. I always knew 100% for sure I was feline.

I made a character based off of my Theriotype, and this is him.

Hello! :p

I can relate to you about the wanting to fit in part. I've always been many different animals but when I discovered the community in August I said I was a wolf because I felt like my therianthropy was too weird or different as well as finding that most others were wolves. I do sometimes behave quite canine when I am around dogs but it's not a shift I experience often.

Don't worry I'm sure you'll find out what you are. To be honest, I still had to search after making that introduction, to which I found that I am a snow leopard. Took so long, but I found it. You just have to have patience and try meditating.

I really don't know what I am...

Don't worry Lone Storm. Just remember to not feel influenced by anyone. Go with what is natural to you and makes sense.

And a second congrats to you on finding your true self. Can I ask how it was you came to the conclusion? Like what you were doing when you realised? :)
