Where I found all this: Waaaaay back from the original post by Blaze on, 42 things I think it was? Anyway, that was the springboard to joining the original Razgriz and other sites. Musta been, 5 or 6 years ago now. Am I a therian? Yes. Northern rocky mountain wolf (I know, wolf, soooo common). I came to this conclusion very early on, when I was a kid. Then, when I'd reached an age and maturity where I could seriously investigate why I was the way I was, I discovered all this, and looked around the different species to see if there was anything that "spoke" to me. My thoughts on therianthropy? I never really bought into the spiritual side of it. Been through too many of those I suppose. But I am a scientist, in the true sense, not the posing of today's losers. I seek to discover, not debunk. So, I investigated that angle. The psychology term is "species dysphoric", like transgender in regards to the mental effects but different by having no physical cause. But hey, labels are labels. My shifting experience isn't all that interesting to be honest. I'm contherianthropic, which means I'm always in a half-shifted state. It gets better and worse, but it's always there. It's mostly just irritating. I'm not really aiming to gain anything. I'm happy as I am, and that's good enough for me. As to contributions. Just, help really. I've read through pretty much every m-shift method and theory on several sites, understand the psychology required for it, and am especially good at devising theories for things people just don't have an answer for yet. Not to mention through my studies prior to discovering therianthropy, I've delved in everything from witchcraft and candle magic to druidism. I'm basically just a walking knowledge refference.

I feel bad for replying to your introduction so late! I'm very sorry about that. I like the fact that you are willing to explore theories on therianthropy and not just turn them down sharply. I suppose that science may be wrong in some things and it should always be considered.
